In the whirlwind that was Folklife weekend, we forgot to make a formal announcement of our debut EP “Live at Substation.” This was recorded live at Substation in Ballard back in February of this year and features four original compositions and one cover by, you guessed it, The Clash. We’ll have physical copies for sale at our shows but if you want the digital version you can get it now on Bandcamp. We’re awful proud of this album and it captures all the energy and insanity of a live Revue show. Get yours today!
A big weekend coming up. We’ll be hitting Conor Byrne’s for Punk As Folk 2017 and then making our festival debut at this year’s NW Folklife Festival. That is not all, we are as we speak, very close to releasing our debut release…in fact, we may just have copies this weekend! Cross your fingers. It’s not in our greedy little hands yet, but maybe….just maybe.
This weekend at Punk As Folk we’ll be backing Mr. Danbert Nobacon and then closing out the night with a night of originals and our favorite punk rock covers. Danbert will also be performing throughout the night between bands. Also on the bill Sour Mash Hug Band from Oakland, Seattle’s own Butterflies of Death, bellow.wing from Bellingham and sideshow performance by Reggie Bugmuncher and Mistress Kali. Stacked bill for a mere $10 advanced. Get tickets here before they’re gone: https://www.strangertickets.com/events/43288316/punk-as-folk-2017-presented-by-silent-city-productions
Then, on Memorial Day – Monday, May 29 we’ll be hitting the Vera Stage at 12:50 PM. NOT 1 PM, 12:50! They’re very prompt at Folklife so don’t show up late and miss half our set. Should be a hoot. Hopefully we’ll have CD’s to sell you after the show but if not, we will have buttons. See you out there kiddies.
